Uganda Baati unveils One Stop Customer Centre

KAMPALA, UGANDA-  Uganda Baati Ltd, a member of SAFAL Group has unveiled their state of the art One stop Roofing Centre aimed at serving their customers better.

According to Hellen Joyce Musiime the Uganda Baati Customer Service Manager, they used to have a lot of customer dissatisfaction and it was a tedious process for their customers to easily purchase their products.

George Arodi the Head of Business at Uganda Baati, which started operations in Uganda in 1964 said their target is to transform the roofing industry to reclaim their number one status.

“We have decided to serve our customers better by opening more showroms and branches. Instead of the customers walking to us for business, we have decided to walk to our customers,” said Orodi during the official opening of the One Stop Centre in Industrial Area in Kampala.

The company also gave out prizes to the best performing departments.

Nakawa Mayor Ronald Nsubuga Balimwezo who was the Chief Guest thanked Uganda Baati for setting up a One Stop Centre for their customers.

“The way to go now is to have one great system of management and having One Stop Centre service,” said Balimwezo.

He said Kampala city contributes 70% of Uganda’s GDP with Nakawa Division where Uganda Baati is located contributing 20% to Uganda’s GDP.
