The 1.5 billion customer rewards campaign dubbed Nyongeza Aya bass by Crown Beverages Limited took over the day’s business on Ngobi road, Iganga as it attracted a multitude of locals from the small town.
The jubilant crowd couldn’t hold back their excitement as the MC of the day interactively introduced the promotion to them.
After announcing the mechanics of the campaign to the revellers, the crowd was seen to flock the soda stall to buy a bottle of either Mirinda, Pepsi or Mountain dew and stand a chance to be among the winners.
Among the prizes staged to be won included; solar-powered lantern, radios, phones, T-shirts, caps, and soda. Almost an hour into the event, people had started to win different prizes which increased the hype for others to buy more soda.
Naika Faziri, a matooke salesman was the first winner of the day.
‘‘I have just bought 2 sodas at two thousand shillings but I have won myself a radio worth fifty thousand shillings.’’ an excited Faziri exclaimed
Amidst games and entertainment from the playful MC, more and more people gathered to try their luck at the recently unveiled Crown Beverages promotion.
Geoffrey Wandera, a Primary School Teacher, couldn’t hold back his excitement when he saw a solar-powered lantern under the bottle top. Immediately jumping on the stage, Geoffrey was given his Solar Lantern by Pepsi’s Contract Distributor in Iganga, Ms Veron.
The day came to an amazing halt with an outstanding performance from John Blaq who sampled the now ecstatic crowd with his hits like Bulaamu, Makanika among others.
Nyongeza Aya bass promotion was launched on the 16th of September 2019 to show appreciation to the brand’s consumers with functional prizes needed in the day to day life experience, and it will run until 16th December 2019.
