Richard Austin Quest, an English journalist and a CNN International anchor and reporter, based in New York City was a surprise guest to the Ugandan Stand at the World Travel Market Tourism Exhibition that concludes today in London.
Quest, who anchors Quest Means Business, a five-times-weekly business programme, also hosts a monthly programme CNN Business Traveller and CNN Marketplace Europe.
He was welcomed to the Standby Uganda Tourism Board Chief Executive Officer Steven Asiimwe and Uganda Ministry of Tourism officials.
The couple led a delegation of over 25 tour operators, hotel owners and service providers from Uganda to attend the Expo that is held every year at ExCel London.
Quest, a native of Liverpool, Merseyside, England, having been born and partly brought up there, was so grateful with the improvements Uganda had done at selling its tourism potentials to the world.
Other Uganda Government agencies that attending the Expo are Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Civil Aviation Authority.
