Bebe Cool donates 60m to support children with heart complications: Ugandan Artist Moses Sali alias Bebe Cool through his charity organization Amber Heart Foundation has donated Ugx 60 million to facilitate the transportation of five children to India for heart surgery.
The children will be leaving for India on Sunday to undergo heart surgery at the Narayana Health Hospital in India.
Addressing the media, the Musician said Government alone cannot manage to solve the social challenging issues most Ugandans are experiencing faced with especially the younger ones thus the need to be supported by every concern citizens.
Children to benefit from the donation are those suffering from complicated heart problems which cannot be handled locally in Uganda.
The beneficiaries of Bebe Cool’s donation include Emmie Ogwang , Bbosa Rashid , Maseruka Jovan among others.
Commenting on the support they have received from the Artists, one of the parents to one of the beneficiaries said, when her child was diagnosed at the Mulago Heart Institute and found that he was having a hole on his heart she lost hope but thanks to Action for Disadvantaged people and Bebecool who have jointly come in to support her.
“God is great, my boy will be operated in India thanks to the good Samaritan who has come to rescue my son because as family we couldn’t manage to meet the cost of the operation plus transport dues from Uganda to India” She explained.
The working relationship between the Amber Heart foundation and Action for Disadvantaged people alongside Tropical bank will see the five children taken to India for the surgery; the three organizations are contributing money for Air tickets, accommodation and hospital dues.
The Ugx 60 million from the Amber Heart foundation is part of the money the Artists raised from the charity concert which Gagamel , Babe Cool’s group organized recently which was also attended by the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni .
