Ntale leads in Buzz Awards

KAMPALA, UGANDA - Swangz Avenue’s Irene Ntale leads the nominations for this year’s Buzz Teeniez Awards, sponsored by Mountain Dew, with six nominations.

The other artistes with a fair share of nominations are new comer Fille and Khalifa Aganaga, who had a decent 2013, with their songs spilling into 2014.

The awards ceremony will be held on May 10 at the Kati Kati gardens.

Currently, there are ongoing pre-awards parties in selected schools with the first having taken place at Mbarara High School in Western Uganda and Seeta High School in Mukono, central Uganda.

The most competitive categories are the Teeniez Male Artiste were rapper Mun* G, Bebe Cool, Khalifa AgaNaga and Goodlyfe will go head to head for the accolade.

The Teeniez Female Artiste category is also competitive with four talented ladies Fille, Irene Ntale, Cindy and Rema facing off.

Teeniez Breakout Artiste accolade will have to go to one of these, Fille, Irene Ntale, Khalifa AgaNaga and rapper Santana.

Again Fille and Irene Ntale will fight for the Rn’B gong this team with competition from Maro and Rema.

The awards will also seek out the best in sports as the teens will vote for the best Male Team and Teeniez Female Team plus individual accolades.
