Why customer care more than just saying you are welcome

As I sat waiting for the service provider to attend to me, a man entered , looked around and asked me where the lady was.I magine he realized I was waiting for the same person so  I told him I had been told that she was busy .

 
Then he replied, " We are also busy", and stood  looking  around for sometime,  he realized nobody seemed to care about him and was considering walking. Fortunately he saw a small machine on the table and exploited its purpose in evaluating the bank system, this man expressed his dissatisfaction radically and walked out.

 
 He did all this because he did not get attention despite all the other workers around, he felt unwanted yet the bank needs him. Therefore customer care is supposed to be given thorough thought considered to avoid losing customers.

 
 According to Wikipedia,  Jamier L. Scott (2002) Customer service is a series of activities designed to enhance the level of customer satisfaction-that is the feeling that a product or service has met the customer expectation. However this virtual  is lacking in businesses in our countries despite its importance to the company and the workers as well. Mr.Kirumira Sam the supervisor of C&C Health Club says customers are different are therefore require to be attended to according to their interests and expectations. The more you interact with customers the more you learn about them and there expectations.


 Efficient customer service is important because without it the customers will go and business will go down. He adds that listening to customers' complaints is very important since it helps the service providers to know and understand the interests of the customers better for sufficient services.   

 
Well if there had been a little care and attention given to him then he would have reacted differently. Customer care is a variable essential before you get a client after and when you get this very special client. A customer deserves special attention because with it you can build a relationship that can bring in a fortune. According to Jim Rohn an America entrepreneur author and motivational speaker, one customer well taken care of, could be more valuable than $10,000 worth of advertising.
