EDITOR––Its interesting how just mis use of one resource can cost us much! One of the things we have ignored in the region, managment of our water!

 In the region, we have Lake Victoria, the second largest freshwater lake in the world; the River Nile; Lake Tanganyika, the second deepest lake in the world . We must remember that we are 19% of the continent’s population. In Kenya, only 57% of the country’s households use water sources considered safe. We better preserve our water sources before its too late!
