Miss Uganda organizers have announced a new management team for the both the Miss Uganda 2010 and Miss Uganda UK 2010 pageants.

"In order To ensure a high profile, sustainable event, we have teamed up with fellow forward thinking team players in the relevant business and service sectors with a wealth of expertise in organising and hosting world-class events in the beauty industry," A statement from the organizers mentioned.

Performance Production Ltd holds the license for Miss Uganda for Miss World produced in 2009 first class events in London and Kampala. Miss Uganda UK at Troxy was the most attended Ugandan UK event ever. Joyce Church, the Managing Director off Performance Production Ltd has a wealth of experience and has organised many beauty contests over the last decade.

"Performance Production Ltd has brought on board individuals with a wealth of experience of beauty contests. They will be working to ensure all contestants are trained to the highest standard and produce a highly entertaining and professional event. This will enhance our image and brand along with that of our sponsors," the statement added.

Contestants will receive extensive training and as a result are professional, able to express themselves well, have presence, the ability to influence and are socially aware, globally and within their own society.

The Miss Uganda 2010 Final in Kampala will be in July 2010 well as Miss Uganda UK 2010 Final will be held in London in November 2010. This has been disclosed by the organisers of Miss Uganda and Miss Uganda UK, Performance Productions.

This was disclosed in their December 2009 Newsletter that was sent out after the Miss World license holders returned from the Miss finals in Johannesburg, South African where the reigning Miss Uganda UK and Miss Uganda, Maria Namiiro took part in the international pageant. The dates could mean that the Miss Uganda UK winner will not be able to compete for the national crown in Kampala that saw Maria Namiiro represent the country at the Miss World contest.
