Editor - In the latest release by the World Bank publications, Burundi has been ranked lowest in Doing Business in East Africa, and 8th from bottom (Number 176 out of 187 surveyed countries).

This is a rather dismal statistic. Does it mean investors are not going to come to Burundi? It is important while statistics are being released for the public and the officials in our governments to know the impact of this.

Publicising such information may help our governments make the decisions that can help us compete in the EAC and help find ways to make us a more attractive nation for.
